2 hour Long Form Yin Yoga & Metta Mediatation
In a world that often feels rushed, divided and disconnected, there is a quiet practice that gently reminds us of what has always been true:
We belong to one another.
I'm so excited to invite you to Heartlines—a special two-hour long-form Yin Yoga and Metta (Loving Kindness) Meditation practice.
Saturday 8 August
1:30–3:30pm
$30
This practice will move slowly through a heart-opening Yin sequence, exploring the beautiful web of fascia that connects every part of our body. We'll spend time with the chest, lungs and heart—the places where we often hold grief, tenderness, love, protection and connection.
In Yin Yoga, we work deeply into the body's connective tissues. As we soften and surrender, we create space not only physically, but emotionally and energetically. Ancient traditions describe the body's meridian pathways as flowing through these tissues, inviting us into a practice that nourishes far more than muscles alone.
As the body softens, so too can the heart.
We'll close our afternoon with the beautiful Buddhist practice of Metta, or Loving Kindness Meditation, a gentle meditation that cultivates compassion for ourselves, those we love, those we find difficult, and ultimately all beings.
Mother Teresa famously said,
"If we have no peace, it is because we have forgotten that we belong to each other."
This practice is an opportunity to remember. To remember that beneath all the fear, noise and separation, there is a place within us that knows only connection. A place that knows yoga, not simply as movement, but as union.
Whether you're carrying grief, longing for softness, or simply craving two uninterrupted hours to nourish yourself, Heartlines offers a space to slow down, breathe deeply, and reconnect with what matters most.
I would be honoured to share this practice with you.
With love,
Mel
